Sketchbook Journaling with Leslie Fehling
September 23th - 30th 2017
Join Leslie Fehling for a relaxing, fun-filled week of exploring the Tuscan countryside, sketchbook in hand. You’ll visit ancient villages, artisan shops, wineries, and markets, and delight in the unique experience of staying at Fattoria Bacio, a winery estate, during grape harvest time. Leslie’s teaching will inspire you to dive in and create an illustrated journal of your life and travels with ink and watercolor – and have fun doing it!
She’ll share the secrets of her unique style of sketchbook journaling, and show you how to create pages filled with colorful images, hand lettering and creative layouts. You’ll also learn practical techniques for painting the subjects you encounter. Leslie’s enthusiastic and encouraging teaching style will bring out the best in you!
Keeping a sketchbook journal will enrich your travel experience by allowing you to slow down and really see all the things that make Italy special – the art and architecture, the scenery, the food and wine, and the people. This is a different way of traveling, one where you connect on a deeper level with the place you visit, and it becomes a part of you forever.
The ultimate goal of this workshop is to soak up the spirit of Tuscany while creating lasting memories of painting, learning, exploring, making new friends, and enjoying great food and wine in an incredible location.
