Kirsten Lockie
New Zealand born artist Kirsten Lockie qualified graphic artist has investigated various forms of visual communication over the past 25 years. She studied printmaking with John Drawbridge, one of New Zealand’s finest print makers and since moving to Italy in 1983 has held exhibitions and given classes at the “Bisonte” school of printmaking in Florence. After discovering the monotype technique to be a key for opening the door to creative freedom, she has worked to promote this rare and versatile art form, giving public demonstrations and opening her studio for daily classes and weekly workshops to artists and non.

Patrizia Zingaretti
Born in Perugia in 1957 she lives and works in Florence since 1977. Her work is characterized by the in depth study of the human figure, in particular of the head and face, preferring details of women's hairstyles and specializing in mixed media on table with natural pigments. In drawing and painting she applies the ancient knowledge of Renaissance painters.
Since 1985 she teaches drawing at Florentine Art Academy and since 2000 the art of the icons (Byzantine painting with gold plating) This has directed her conceptual knowledge of the face in a spiritual perspective. Her research draws from the past in order to propose in a contemporary language an image of the face, intended as a manifestation of the human soul.

Winnie Givot
From Sisters, Oregon, has been teaching watercolor and drawing classes since 1996. She has over 600 paintings in collections internationally, including those of Bill & Hilary Clinton, Edward Kennedy, United Parcel Service, Deepak Chopra, and the Chilean Congress. She is included in Who’s Who in America and Who’s Who in the World. She belongs to Northwest Watercolor Society, Watercolor Society of Oregon and Plein Air Painters of Oregon. Her paintings have been included in numerous national and international juried exhibitions.
While skilled at handling the fluid medium of watercolor she feels that beauty and seeing-with-the-eye-of-the-heart are at the core of her work.

Jude Siegel
Combining her love of teaching, a passion for watercolor, and a strong connection with nature, Jude teaches Nature Journaling, a lively combo of watercolor and pen, drawing, and writing. With a backround in Natural Science and Education, (MSEd, Portland State University), Jude has taught art and nature studies for over 35 years. Currently teaching in Portland,Oregon, USA, she has also taught art classes for colleges, museums, nature centers, and art centers, including Sitka Center for Art and Ecology on the Oregon Coast. Watercolor journals record wherever she travels. Her book, A Pacific Northwest Nature Sketchbook ( Timber Press. 2006) illustrates the Nature Journaling form.
