Besides improving ones technique it is the intention of this painting and printing workshop to expand the awareness of your inspirational force. Plenty of stimulus will come from the surroundings and from the extraordinary techniques which offer infinite opportunities to explore.
The interpretation of the surrounding olive groves and vistas firstly in water colour will fine tune observation skills using them as preliminary studies for numerous monotype prints. Participants may choose the amount of time to dedicate to each technique and will have plenty of guidance and answers to questions.
Light lunch is included and afternoons are free with time to relax or explore. Florence and Siena are easy to reach and each day there will be a trip to nearby S. Casciano for shopping or other daily needs.
Accommodation is in a beautiful 400 year old Tuscan farmhouse on a wine and cheese producing estate. It has a well equipped kitchen and spacious rooms.
